10 Tips To Shed FAT Forever

When you go on a “DIET” to lose weight, there is a high chance you may set yourself up for failure. A Diet always has an expiration date; which is why when it gets over most people return to their previous eating habits.

In fact, 50% of women say that within six months they gain back any weight they had managed to ditch.

Well, get ready to stop the endless yo-yoing!

If you want to lose fat and keep it off forever make changes that you can live with indefinitely. Don’t over- restrict calories or go on an extremely strenuous workout program that you can’t keep up with later in life. Rather find an exercise routine that can adequately challenge you and you can maintain it for years to come.

So, here we give you 10-tips that can help you give your Body Fat a permanent send-off!!

1. Big Balanced Breakfast:
Your body has been starving all-night and so it needs good amount of nutrients to rebuild itself. If you fail to have a healthy breakfast, it can negatively influence your metabolism that can lead to increase in weight.
Eat sufficient protein (40 grams), a complex carbohydrate to start your day right!

2. Carb Curfew:

A diet high on starchy carbs like potatoes, rice, or breads provide your body with more energy than it requires, so anything that’s left over is stored as fat. You don’t have to eliminate carbs completely but set a curfew on your carbs; preferably, no carbs post 6 P.M.
For dinner, opt for a high protein meal with plenty of fibrous greens.

3. Many Meals:

People on a diet often tend to reduce the number of daily meals in an attempt to reduce weight. However, this is a complete no-no!
Try and break your meals into smaller portions and have 6 meals instead of 3 heavy meals. Increasing the number of meals will help your body burn more calories by increasing thermo genesis (production of heat in the body during digestion).

4. Say hello to Greens:

Green vegetables are loaded with nutrients and have minimal calories. The high fiber content in the veggies makes you feel full on fewer calories and even helps to fight hunger pangs.
So, consume at least 5 servings of veggies a day to up your overall fiber intake!

5. Healthy Fats:

People on diets tend to completely eliminate fats from their lifestyle. You have to reduce calories to get rid of body fat, but you don’t want to cut out all the healthy fats. Fats take longer to digest; leaving your cravings satisfied.

So, include healthy fats like nuts, seeds, fatty fish, avocados and oils such as olive oil, canola oil or ghee in your diet.

6. Let’s Go H2O!:

Water is the medium in which most cellular activities take place, including the transport and burning of fat. In addition, drinking plenty of calorie-free water makes you feel full and eat less.
Include at least 4-5 liters of water a day.

7. Avoid Drastic Calorie Reductions:

In order to improve our eating habits we need to be practical, not perfect. If you love a particular food, don’t prohibit yourself completely from eating it. Keep that food to once a week instead of indulging into them more often.
People who drastically cut down on calories to lose weight end up looking flat and depleted.
So keep a balanced diet that you can sustain for long!

8. Cheat, but just a Little:

Junk food like French fries, potato chips or sweets offers nothing but calories. On the other hand, cheat foods like pizza or rice have some nutritional benefits.
But when you eat cheat foods, eat them for flavor. Don’t eat the entire pizza, just have one slice, savor the flavor and share the rest!

9. Get Moving:

To shed fat forever workouts should be an important part of your lifestyle. Start with workouts that you can sustain, like going for a 30-minute power walk, your favorite zumba class, or any vigorous sports activity you like.
These workouts will help to keep your metabolism up, helping to shed that fat!

10. Hide your Weakness:

There is a high chance that if you see it, you will end up eating it. So, try hiding all the sweet candies or foods that you crave for in places that are out of your sight. And keep healthy snacks like nuts or figs handy. Out of sight, Out of mind, Out of mouth!!

The above tips will definitely benefit you, if followed religiously. So, let’s make our lifestyle healthier as someone has rightly said,

“Your body is a temple, but only if you treat it as one.”
